Monique Pomerleau – California

We made another friend on the web this week.  Meet Monique!

Her father, Tom, writes:

“Hi Patti, I found your site of John’s through Thomas Joseph Stanton’s Caring Bridge site.  My daughter was also in an accident in Feb. 2010.  They wanted us to pull plug after 10 days saying she would be in a vegetative state also.  We knew God wasn’t done with her yet and believing everyone deserves a second chance, it is now day 340 of her miracle journey. She told me today that she’s getting better. We’re trying to get her to Centre for Nuero Skills Bakersfield, waiting on approval from insurance.  She is now on Caring Bridge, and we started it on day 306. we have 4 books of journals for everyday of her journey. check her out on caring bridge,  and would love for her to be added to prayer list.  Thanks, Tom Pomerleau”
We love you Monique and we want you to work hard to get better!  I am adding Monique’s Caring Bridge link to our links section so you can watch her progress!  Please pray and send and encouraging note to Monique.  We look forward to watching her progress!

Baby Diego

Baby Diego is in Houston and they have decided that they cannot surgically remove the tumor from his lungs and therefore, he is no longer a candidate for the liver transplant that he needs, or the surgery to try to remove this last tumor.  They are sending him to San Antonio for a second surgical opinion and then probably back to the Valley if San Antonio has nothing to offer.  Once he is back here at DHR in McAllen, they will begin the chemo again and continue to pray for a miracle.  Diego just turned two.

Lucy Cantu – MD Anderson & Madeline Grace

Imelda from BT MCAllen has requested prayer for Lucy Cantu who is at MD Anderson fighting cancer.  The word that came forth was “God Can Too” so we send a healing word to Lucy!  Also, Madeline Grace who is 12 is not feeling good at all, so we pray for her little body to be healed in Jesus’ name!

Imelda is also asking for prayer for her household.  Her husband Ernie, and three children!  We call this household BLESSED!
